
Bellali Austria

Born in Mexico. Bellali is choreographer, dancer and producer. She is graduated flamenco pedagogy (dance) from Seville, Spain, and a bachelor's degree in art and dance studies at the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes in Mexico. She also has bachelor's degree as an interpreter and translator and special degree as English teacher in Mexico. Bellali has also studied "Cultural Management" (Goethe Institute).
Bellali has taught flamenco dance for over 15 years. In 2012 she created an international dance company called "FlamencoEnsamble". This artistic initiative emanates from the need to strengthen flamenco in Norway and to stimulate the exchange of flamenco artists between Norway and the rest of the world. The aim is to create music and dance performances, educational meetings and sociocultural workshops through flamenco. The company is a product of her recent research on cultural diversity through flamenco.
In 2013, Bellali founded a flamenco school "Espacio flamenco Noruega" in Oslo. She has otherwise taught at several international dance schools and held workshops for both children and adults. She has also appeared on stages and "flamenco tablaos" in several cities around Norway and internationally in several cities and countries like London, Lisbon, France, Brazil, Cuba, Japan, Germany, Morocco, Mexico and Spain.
In 2016 she created Norges Flamencoforbund to strengthen the flamenco in Norway at a professional and pedagogical level. And here starts a flamenco festival in the context of cultural diversity with this first concept called Vengo. Gathering professional artists from Norway, Denmark, Finnland, Spain, Mexico, Brazil and France.
Bellali has a varied professional experience in dance and since 2012 she has performed in important venues and festivals in Norway as the Norwegian Opera, the celebration of Women's Day in Drammen Theater, Black Nordic Theater , Gypsy day. Perla Mediterránea (Oslo); Hellviktangen Culture (Nesodden).She performs and works for Rikskonsertene in flamenco proudctions, DKS tour Tablao Flamenco in Hedmark among others. Long Journeys Brief encounters (Teaterkjelleren), Children's World Days (Oslo World Music Festival), Ceiba Parkteatret Moss, Chldren productions for "day of the dead" at the Historical Museum in Oslo and Kulquinox festival in Sandvika . She has also set up various performances in collaboration with Nesodden Municipality, and performed at the Centre for International Dance (Oslo).
